Between 2018 and 2022, 400+ Startups passed through our Startup Program worldwide and benefited from the power of our network. Each year it just gets better. This year will be our very first one taking place in our new (second) home, Austin, Texas.
Here are 5 reasons why startups keep coming back for our Startup Program.
1. Startup Day
On Wednesday May 31st, participating startups will be gathering at the Inn Cahoots for a day of learning and networking away from the crowds. Our Startup Partner, AppSumo, will be helping us on this journey to recognise the trailblazers in SaaS.
Dedicated workshops from SaaS Experts and our Startup Partners, and our first round of the Pitch Competition will take place on this day in front of a panel of investors.
“We’ve been with the SaaStock Startup Program for 2 consecutive years and are already looking forward to the next edition. SaaStock is a must for all SaaS companies that want to grow, learn, close partnerships and exchange valuable knowledge.” – Niko Nelissen, Founder & CEO, Blendr.io
2. Opportunity to participate in the Global Pitch Competition
For yet another year, we are taking on the challenge to find and bet on the best SaaS startups of 2023 – this time in North America. There’s so much talent out and about, and it’s just a matter of scouting it.
Our Global Pitch Competition gives up-and-coming startups a platform to showcase their SaaS in front of leading international VCs and experts in the field. It’s an opportunity to get all eyes on you, and a chance to be recognised as the best SaaS startup of the year amongst your peers. Who doesn’t like a bit of a confidence-boost?
Cledara has previously participated in the Startup Program and won the Pitch Competition in 2018. The win led to a 600% growth for them the following year and closed a round in the same year. Incredible, right?
Who is competing for the SaaStock USA 2023 ‘Best Startup’ title, you ask? So far we have: Insynctive, Mentessa and more.
“[The Startup Program] helped us find early adopters amongst the companies that were attending the event. It gave us massive validation.” – Cristina Vila Vives, Founder & CEO, Cledara

3. Matchmaking with Investors & Get Funding
In order to raise a pre-Seed or Seed round, SaaS founders need to reach out to 150+ VCs/Angels, and have an average of 100 meetings, which can easily take up to 6 months. That’s time most SaaS founders don’t have.
But here’s where SaaStock fits into the puzzle. The Startup Program at SaaStock USA ensures 20+ one-on-one meetings with VCs, and exposure to the 100+ VCs in attendance.
“We’ve been with the SaaStock Startup Program for 2 consecutive years and are already looking forward to the next edition. SaaStock is a must for all SaaS companies that want to grow, learn, close partnerships and exchange valuable knowledge.” – James Henderson, CEO, Zephr
Investors we’ve worked with include: Accel, OpenView, Northzone, and OXX.
4. Exposure in the Expo Hall
The main conference takes place on June 1st & 2nd where startups will have an extended opportunity to mingle with their peers and best-fit investors. With various branding and exposure opportunities, you’ll be able to generate leads, raise brand awareness, and to explore the North American SaaS ecosystem.
From a small booth on one day to a large booth on both days in the Expo Hall, plus thought leadership opportunities, our Startup Program can give you the reach and visibility your SaaS deserves.
The Expo Hall is the place to generate leads, meet your initial customers and drive awareness of your brand. Many of our startups have met their future investors and secured their seed rounds at the Startup Program.
5. Tailored Expert-led Workshops with Actionable Insights
The Startup Program is packed with actionable and informative insights from Keynote presentations to deep-dive workshops focusing on various aspects for scaling your SaaS business. Keynotes will be delivered by: Godard Abel (CEO, G2) and Chad Vanags (B2B SaaS Sales Trainer, Winning by Design).
