We’ve been busy working on something for a while and finally, the secret’s out.
SaaStock has acquired Nathan Latka’s SaaSOpen Austin. And in May 2025, we’re working together to create North America’s highest rated SaaS event for founders and leadership teams.
This strategic partnership marks an exciting next stage for SaaStock USA as we head to Austin for the third time.
A partnership six years in the making
I first met Nathan six years ago when he spoke at SaaStock Europe 2018. We connected quickly over our view of the industry and what is ultimately a shared mission—to help SaaS founders grow their businesses.
Since then, we’ve travelled the world together and Nathan has continued to be an impactful presence at SaaStock events, globally. He’s also built a significant following of SaaS founders and CEOs through his own podcast, SaaSOpen events in Austin and New York, and by financing 519 SaaS founders with $185m in capital through his Founderpath fund.
Over the years, we’ve often talked about whether or not we should work together more formally. Asking ourselves could we create more value for founders in the US with a joint venture? When we launched SaaStock USA in 2022, this became clearer and I’m glad that in 2025 we’re finally making it happen at what feels like a pivotal time for the industry.
The home for B2B SaaS to scale and become AI first
This acquisition marks a new chapter for SaaStock USA as we bring both communities back to Austin for a bigger, better, and redefined event.
What this means in practice is that we’re prioritising quality and bringing the audience that our attendees want to meet with. That means practical and strategic content, connection building that fuels that next 12 months of pipeline, and upskilling leadership teams to strengthen GTM strategy.
We’re bringing the strong Founder and CEO community and unique content that Nathan has developed through SaaSOpen Austin into the SaaStock conference.
The new Founderpath Center Stage will have speakers and sessions curated by Nathan, with content that goes deeper into the data behind successful SaaS companies and demonstrates clear and quantifiable ROI. He’ll also host an intimate invite only CEO event at Soho House on Monday 12 May that will kick off the CEO networking at the SaaStock conference.
“SaaStock featured Tope at Calendly back in 2018 when they had just $5M in revenue. Since then, Alex and his team have hosted over 20,000 SaaS leaders across their global events.
When Alex reached out about acquiring SaaSOpen Austin, I had questions. Would we be able to continue with our data-driven style? Would he give us the freedom to require speakers include Revenue graphs in all decks? Could we curate to keep out consultants and non-operators?,” said Nathan Latka.
He continued, “Leaning on a 6+ year relationship, we worked out the details and are thrilled to be partnering. SaaStock has birthed 100’s of successful SaaS founders totaling billions in revenue today. If you’re a SaaS CEO craving intimate connections with other $5-$500m CEO’s, we look forward to hosting you in Austin May 12-14th!”
And that’s not all, we’re bringing a host of new products that will elevate the experience and increase ROI for our attendees, including:
- Enterprise forum: Curated content for CEOs, CMOs, CROs, CFOs and CPOs at companies with +500 employees.
- GTM forum: Four curated programmes for marketing, revenue, finance, and product leaders to fortify your GTM plan for the next 12 months.
- SMB forum: Helping founders and their leadership teams balance growth, innovation, and efficiency.
- Meetings programme: From our AI powered networking app to facilitated meetings, and new networking experiences, SaaStock USA will connect you with the right people.
- AI Ascend: A pre-event (12 May), practical forum designed to help founders integrate AI into business operations and position your business as AI-first.
