COVID-19 – SaaStock update for H1, 20202 min read
To our SaaStock family,
It’s a challenging time for all of us, and our hearts go out to everyone affected by the recent outbreak of COVID-19.
As founders, executives, and investors, we know that the most important part of our business is our people, our community.
At SaaStock we have been closely monitoring the outbreak from the start, creating contingency plans and preparing for the worst case scenario.
As the global pandemic continues to escalate, it has become clear that moving forward with our event calendar as scheduled would have the potential to expose COVID-19 to the SaaS community we love.
Therefore we will be taking the following measures to ensure the safety of our community:
- SaaStock LatAm will be postponed to September 2020
- SaaStock North America will be postponed until 2021
- SaaStock Asia & Australasia will be merged into one event, SaaStock APAC, taking place in November 2020
- All SaaStock Local events will be postponed for at least eight weeks
You can find our updated event calendar here.
In response to these changes, we are working on our first ever Virtual Conference, which will take place in June.
This will replicate the best of our flagship event, ensuring the learning and networking SaaStock is famous for continues, and that we provide a safe and effective solution to address the need for knowledge in this time of uncertainty.
If you already have a ticket for any of the affected events, we will offer the guarantee of automatically transferring it so that it’s valid for the rescheduled date, or refund your ticket cost, or transfer it to another SaaStock event this year – whichever you prefer.
I want to take this time to thank our speakers, partners, and all of you for being part of our family – and the SaaStock team who worked tirelessly to find solutions that would keep us all safe onsite.
We’ll miss connecting with the SaaStock community in person over the next few months, however in the face of adversity our digital solutions will bring the value of SaaStock online and accelerate our time to value.
We look forward to bringing the community back together later in the year in São Paulo, Dublin and Singapore.
Stay tuned for the next steps in our collective journey – and stay safe!
